Beth Gottfried Lisogorsky is one of the owners of this site. (The other is her super smart and creative husband without whom there would be no Amaldo.) Beth embarked on her online writing career back when blogging was considered for amateurs and true journalists honed their craft and set the course of their careers with internships at The NY Times. Fortunately for her, blogging eventually became en vogue and all those online reviews and commentaries she poured herself into were not in vain - excluding the now-defunct sites for which she doesn't have back-up copy.
For the past eight years, Beth has contributed commentary on all aspects of pop culture. She started her career reviewing film and TV (her first loves) and later graduated into snarking and wonking on technology and business. In 2004, she co-authored a business book on the hit show "The Apprentice" for which she did a weekly recap column.
